As a former award winning photojournalist turned Executive Producer, I create narratives at the intersection of emergent technology and human experience. Through DesertRat Productions and The Human Layer podcast, I explore how AI and Web3 impact society, bringing 25+ years of storytelling expertise to complex technological conversations. My journey from documenting post-conflict communities to strategic communications in emergent technology has taught me that all tech stories are fundamentally human ones.Currently working with explainable AI organizations, I develop strategies that make complex technology accessible and accountable. This focus emerged from investigating AI's societal impacts through The Human Layer. My approach combines technical fluency with embodied wisdom practices, ensuring technology serves humanity's highest potential rather than diminishing it.

Privacy Advocate

My journey into the infosec world started in a small hacker space over a decade ago. I joined to learn more about protecting journalists and activists. Specializing in OSINT and social engineering, I now help organizations and individuals understand and implement privacy measures to protect their missions and communities.

In an era of surveillance capitalism, personal opsec is an ethical imperative and non-negotiable for advocates of vulnerable communities. Tantric Technologist

I hold a Bachelors degree in Yoga Studies from Naropa University, where I completed a rigorous 1,000-hour curriculum with a minor in contemplative religion. I also hold a 500 RYT certification, bringing both deep academic yoga study and advanced practical training to my work as a technologist.

My approach is further shaped by Tantric principles applied to technology, drawing from the left-hand path of Vamachara, non-dualism, and transgressive design. My framework weaves wisdom practices with technology, integrating opposing forces to cultivate awareness, resilience, and ethical innovation in our digital age.By embracing the paradoxes inherent in our digital age, I help individuals and organizations develop sovereign, embodied relationships with technology that honor both innovation and human wholeness.
